Tris Lumley leads Open For All, a program designed to empower the social sector to share its knowledge, research, insights, evidence, and data within the Commons for the benefit of all. Tris advocates for moving away from knowledge hoarding for competition, instead fostering solidarity and collective power through shared insights.
As Director of Open For All at NPC, the founding partner of the program, Tris also serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at Ashoka and is an elected Special Relationship Fellow. At NPC, Tris oversees the Open Philanthropy program, which has developed a fund focused on addressing financial hardship in the UK, while working with foundations and philanthropists to open up their practices and contribute to shared knowledge.
Through Ashoka, Tris is working on prototypes and experiments for shared knowledge, insights, and new philanthropic and investment models, drawing on Ashoka’s global network of Fellows, ventures, and initiatives.
Open For All is open to collaboration with anyone committed to building and mobilizing shared knowledge, promoting collective power through open and accessible insights.
