Jess trained in Voice Studies at Central School of Speech and Drama in London – a course that is internationally renowned for the specialised education it gives in the study and practice of the spoken voice. She also has degrees in Linguistics and Drama, and Education, and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
Jess has worked internationally as a Voice, Dialect and Text Coach, for major theatre companies including The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Shaw Festival Theatre Canada, Sydney Theatre Company, and Bell Shakespeare, and on international musicals including Moulin Rouge, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins and Matilda.
Jess is passionate about helping all people to speak with presence and impact. She is now drawing on her extensive work with actors to support speakers from all sectors. Her voice work is focussed on helping the individual to craft a dynamic voice that completely and truly represents their dynamic thoughts and ideas.
