Analogue leadership in a digital world

Marianne Darre

Marianne holds a Master of Science in Psychology together with an abundance of education and experience in conflict management, group dynamics and coaching. For the past 20 years Marianne has been designing programs to help develop leadership, build effective teams and strengthen organisational performance.

Marianne is currently a senior consultant with AFF, the largest leadership and organisational development consultancy in Norway. A major part of her work is with the Solstrand Programme, the most reknown open enrolment program in the Nordic countries which is rated one of the top leadership development programmes in the world.

Since 1953 Solstrand has brought together top Nordic managers who bring their diverse perspectives and experiences and together work to address the most pressing challenges of their time.

Marianne’s approach to leadership development is relational, non-hierarchical and contextual. She works with her clients through promoting self-awareness and self-knowledge as being critical to leadership development, particularly in times of uncertainty. A key part of this is that, as the consultant, she is also open to self learning.

Marianne lives a busy life juggling her work and family with her husband and two teenage kids. When she is not working you will find her engaged in some classical Norwegian outdoor activities like skiing, cycling or hiking.
